Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard became friends at Stanford University before forming a two-person company in a rented garage—the original Silicon Valley startup.
For this project I received a large three-ring binder from HP with detailed instructions on use of color, fonts, images and placement. I was one of the first designers to decipher the new corporate identity and produce templates for the HP product data sheets.
I also created this 10-page Pocket Guide and Comparison Guide. The Comparison Guide won first place from the Society of Technical Illustrators, for outstanding technical design.
